Thank you for visiting the website of Cat Purr Sanctuary. We are located in northern Kentucky, just south of the Ohio River and Southern Indiana. Cat Purr Sanctuary is a no kill shelter for homeless and feral cats. We provide a permanent home for cats that have not found that special person to share their lives. This is a picture of our current facility. We are working to earn money to buy land and build several buildings like this so that we can house more cats.

Long Term Care For Cats

Most of our cats are residents for life. These cats are usually unadoptable for various reasons - some were feral and will never be totally domesticated; some have physical problems; some are older. We will provide a home, love, and health care for these animals for the rest of their natural lives.

MAMA CAT

The cat pictured in the header of our home page is Mama Cat. Mama cat is a manx cat and was rescued approximately 12 years ago. She was living in the woods and having babies regularly. She was afraid of people and would not come near them. She has been at the shelter since her rescue. She has been spayed and is now domesticated. She is happy and loved here at Cat Purr Sanctuary.
